If you love turquoise jewelry, you know it's hard to find it in some parts of the country. Try our slate jewelry! Lightweight slate makes the perfect surface for our poured acrylic art. This set is turquoise inspired and has a little black glitter, along with a Swarovski crystal on both the pendant and the coordinating earrings. Earrings are on surgical steel wires. Pendant is 2.5 inches, with black and turquoise beads, and stainless steel components. Itcomes with a 22 inch stainless steel chain.
 
Artist Kat Morris quarries real slate from Rockmart GA, and Delta, PA, and then, through a 12-step process, creates unique slate jewelry! These are not machine made - each one is handcrafted in our home studio in Ringgold GA. 
 
Each piece of slate is carefully selected, split and shaped until it is smooth and lightweight. Then, our poured acrylic technique is individually appled to each piece of primed and prepared slate. Once the backs are painted, the slate goes under the UV light with 2 coats of resin. Once cured, embellishments like wirework, Swarovski® crystals and other beads are added to make stunning one-of-a-kind original pieces of jewelry! Nothing else like 'em!
